A warm welcome to all our students and whanau to Tangaroa College. A special welcome especially to all our new students and their whanau, and to our new staff.
We are excited for the year ahead and as a college we look forward to working alongside our whanau to best support your child’s success.

Expectations of our students that develop good habits.
- To be in the correct uniform.
- To arrive at school on time and be punctual to class.
- Respect and care for yourself, other students, college staff and college property.
College start times and finish
- Monday 8.55am to 2.10pm
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8.55am to 3pm.
School Open Times for Course conformation and introductions
- Year 12 & 13 students only, 31 January 2024 at 9am – 12pm
- Year 11 students only, 1st February at 9am – 12pm
- Year 10 students only, 2nd February at 9am – 12pm
- Year 9 students only, 5th February at 9am – 12pm
- The full timetable starts for ALL students 7th February 2024.
